Set on Nygårdshøyden, this charming and venerable brick villa is the perfect setting for an idyllic wedding. Inside, there is room for 100 guests, and outside, a beautiful garden awaits. We make and serve honest food and drink from ingredients of the very highest quality, and we tailor the menu to your wishes.

Grans Villa
At Grans Villa, Bergen's architectural heritage meets its culinary history.
The villa stands on Jahnebakken, named after the legendary confectioner Adolph Friedrich Wilhelm Jahn (1811–1897). The house was designed by the architect Einar Oscar Schou, who also designed Den Nationale Scene, Fløirestauranten and Lille Lungegårdsvann.
History is more than an evocative backdrop to everything we host and create at Grans Villa. It is quite literally built into the walls.
KRANSEVERKSTED
With plenty of help, inspiration, and guidance from Blomsterlise, we each make our own large wreath. The wreaths hold up very well outdoors, even when temperatures drop, so the wreath-making workshop is a wonderful activity in November. We hold two classes each day. Between classes, at 1:00 p.m., we serve our famous paprika soup with breakfast bread and whipped butter for lunch.
